A relative newcomer to Mâcon, Nicolas Delfaud produced his first vintage in 2016, just few years after earning a viticulture degree and interning with an organic domaine in the region. In the small district of Verzé, Delfaud has acquired a few hectares of vines, some dating to the 1960s, and has been making stellar Chardonnays with brilliant energy and verve. Fully organic and produced with minimal intervention, the wines are beautifully expressive.
