Isabelle and Denis Pommier began their small domaine in 1990 with just 2 hectares of vines, selling their first few harvests to negoçiants. They’ve steadily added to the domaine over the years adding parcels and planting more vines to the home vineyard, and now they have vines in the Chablis, Chablis premier cru, and Petit Chablis appellations. Certified organic and committed to growing wine naturally, the Pommiers have developed a small collection of cuvées that express Chablis’ Kimmeridgian terroir with remarkable clarity and finesse. An under-the-radar domaine today, it’s undoubtedly one to watch.
