Eve and Bill Holloran purchased a heritage vineyard on Worden Hill Road in Dundee and a large parcel of land perfect for grape growing in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. When harvest of 1999 fast approached they needed a place to make wine, so the winery began in a converted horse barn located at their West Linn property in September 1999, one of Oregon’s first garagiste wineries. With sites located in the cool, northern reaches of the Willamette Valley, Holloran Vineyards grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Riesling emphasizing single-vineyard, terroir-driven wines that reflect the unique climate and soil of the region. Most of the vineyards are located in the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills appellations. The winery focuses on quality, microclimate expression, and the distinct differences that each site offers. Winemaker, Mark LaGasse. Vineyard manager, Vicente Mora.
