A project from Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman, Domaine de la Côte is a collection of six vineyards planted over 40 acres on the westernmost edge of the Santa Rita Hills appellation in Santa Barbara County. Although the property spans a mere 40 acres, each vineyard has a unique geology, aspect, elevation, and microclimate. Such distinct expressions of site – or terroir – in such close proximity, is unparalleled in California. The vineyards are farmed organically and the wines are made with the philosophy “add nothing, take nothing away.”
