Winemaking Information
Fermentation and maceration for 12 days in 5000l stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation in 225l wood barriques. Aged in barrique for 12 months. At least six months aging in bottle before release. A minimal amount of S02 is added to the wine at bottling, the quantity depends on the vintage.

Fun Facts: Vigo is the original wine at Romeo del Castello and is in homage to Chiara's father. Once she started making the Allegracore bottling, Vigo became a riserva, produced in small quantities in only the best vintages.
