For nearly 40 years MontRubí has been creating small production wines using a mix of both old world and modern winemaking techniques. Focus is on indigenous varieties of the Penedès region that are best suited to terroir. They include Sumoll, Xarel-lo, Parellada, Garnatxa and Samsó. They achieved organic certification in 2020.
