Casanuova delle Cerbaie is located in the heart of the Montalcino appellation, with holdings on Montosoli and a next door neighbor of none other than Livio Sassetti’s Pertimali. Founded in the 1970s, the winery has been under new ownership since 2008, and with the new regime has come the conversion to organics and a renewed focus on quality from top to bottom. Though the earlier wines were excellent, more recent vintage have shown the tremendous potential of the property.
