Anna Martens has been making wine from old vineyards on Mount Etna since 2008. Now with 6 hectares of vines – very substantial for the steeply terraced slopes of the volcano – she crafts a range of wines from the biodynamically-farmed sites, including old Nerello Mascalese, Grecanico, Carricante, Minella, Alicante, and other vines. The wines are soulful, deep, and undeniably Etna.
