Winegrowers in Santenay since 1645, the Muzard family is thoroughly connected to this under-the-radar region’s terroir. Today the domaine is run by Lucien’s sons, Claude and Hervé, and Claude’s daughter Capucine. The domaine spans seven appellations, with an average vine age over 55 years. Between the old vines and the Muzards’ gentle winemaking, the wines are very expressive of their terroir, with a lively, elegant style to the reds and a crystalline, almost chablisienne style to the whites.
