Holloran Vineyard Wines produces small quantities of handcrafted wine from premium vineyard sites in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They emphasize low yields and careful hands-on management of the vines to produce wines that express the unique characteristics of their vineyard sites. Currently they produce 3,000 – 4,000 cases per year. Holloran starts with high quality farming techniques – vineyards are farmed organically or biodynamically. They carefully manage crop loads to ensure optimal ripening. Small lot processing and fermentations are followed by very gentle pressing, to provide for purity of flavors and support development of complex aromas. They never rush the wines through the cellar, top barrel aged Pinot Noirs see 18 months of barrel time, using the finest french oak cooperage.
